Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and directly support the BPS community. Children love to see their parents, grandparents and carers doing something at the school.
How can you help?
emoji_people Working bees – Once a term, planting, mulching and weeding.
emoji_people Second-hand uniform stall – Once a term, sorting clothes and selling on the day.
emoji_people Book covering – When the school purchases new graded readers a lot of people-power is needed to cover the books so that they last longer. Parents can join organised covering mornings or take a covering kit and cover some at home.
emoji_people Book Club – Twice a term, distributing brochures and sorting books into class deliveries.
emoji_people Other events – Trash and Treasure, Easter Raffle, Art Show, Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day, Election Day BBQs, Movie Nights, Trivia Nights, etc. Volunteers will be called for through Facebook, the school bulletin and the P&C email list.
